3 Tips to Prepare for Your Ski Trip
1) Get your body ready. Focus on ski specific movements and get stronger for your upcoming trip. Improvements in Strength, Flexibility, Balance and Endurance will pay dividends when you get on snow. (Click HERE for info on conditioning)
2) Get your boots out and start wearing them around the house. Flex them while in a skiing position to help familiarize you with the feeling of the boot before your trip. Even a few times in the boots before your trip will help.
3) Get your skis tuned and waxed and have the bindings checked for proper release function by a reputable ski shop. This is important for safe and efficient performance of your skis.
And now, close your eyes and start ski dreaming!
