Discounted Aspen Lift Tickets for Seniors Aged 70 or Older
Bumps for Boomers has consistently worked hard at trying to find the best Aspen discount lift ticket rates for our clients. If you are age 70 or older, the Aspen Skiing Company offers two Aspen discount pass options that are really good values. Which one you buy depends on how many days you plan to ski this season.
If you plan to ski 10 or more days in Aspen/Snowmass, the ‘Premier Silver Pass’ is your best value. The pass is $399 and offers unlimited skiing on all four mountains for the 2011-2012 ski season. In addition, you get:
- Four 1/2 price discount coupons for lift tickets and equipment rentals that you can give to family and friends.
- Discount parking pass for Two Creeks/Snowmass and Aspen Highlands garage
- Free summer lift access
- Discounts on Locals Clinic pass
- Food & beverage discount offers at select on-mountain restaurants
If you plan to ski 3-9 days this season, then the ‘Escape Silver Pass’ is your best option. The pass costs $199 plus $22 per day lift ticket. For example, if you bought this pass and skied seven days, you would pay a total of $353 or $50.43/day.
Both passes offer optional season pass insurance. This allows you to recoup the prorated cost of your pass for covered reasons such as illness or serious injury, etc. Insurance for the Premier Silver Pass is $23.94 and for the Escape Silver Pass is $11.94.
If you are not yet 70 and are looking for Aspen discount lift tickets, we offer our clinic participants lift tickets at a daily rate of $83/day. We strongly recommend you call Stay Aspen/Snowmass at 1-800-456-0897 to ask about discount hotel and lift ticket packages. They often can offer you a better discount lift ticket price.
Whatever you do, plan to purchase your lift tickets before you arrive in Aspen/Snowmass! Otherwise you will pay top dollar at the “walk-up” window price.
