Thank You & Congratulations!

You’ve Taken A First Step To Ski For LifeTM

Thank you for submitting your on-line reservation form for a BUMPS FOR BOOMERS’ Clinic. Please look for an email from ‘[email protected]‘ to confirm availability of the clinic dates you requested.

Skiing in 2020-2021 season is going to be different, but we are here to assist you and walk you through the new operating procedures to keep our community, guests and coaches safe and our mountain open. There are new procedures in place for this season so please take a minute to read this message.

1) Confirming Your Reservation

Upon receipt of your reservation request, you will receive an e-mail invoice for the clinic 50% deposit. The invoice will have a link to a secure website where you can charge your deposit to your VISA, M/C, AMEX card or Apple Pay. You will receive a second invoice two weeks prior to the clinic start date for the balance due. If you are booking within 2 weeks of the clinic start date, your invoice will be for the full amount. Please check your e-mail over the coming days for an invoice from “BUMPS FOR BOOMERS ® LLC” (if you click on the e-mail sender it will state: invoicing@messaging.squareup.com). If you do not receive an invoice within 5 days of submitting your reservation please first check your junk or spam e-mail folder for it, and if you don’t see the e-mail, contact nancy@bumpsforboomers.com or call us at 970-989-2529.

2) Book Your Lodging

To eliminate the need for public transportation, we strongly recommend you to book lodging in Aspen. International reservations are down this season making more lodging options available.

We encourage you to book with Stay Aspen/Snowmass as they have the largest inventory of condos and hotels in Aspen. Please call them at 1-800-456-0897 and tell them you are taking aa BUMPS FOR BOOMERS clinic or lesson. They offer discounted bundle packages for lodging, lift tickets and ski rental. Please note lodging cancellation policies vary by property and Stay Aspen/Snowmass will provide all the details for every property.

If you choose to book directly with a hotel, VRBO or AirBNB, please book your lift tickets asap or make a reservation if you are an Ikon Pass holder.

3) Lift Tickets – New for 2020-2021

For the 2020-2021 season, it is possible that daily skier capacity limits may be put into place. If you have a lesson and lift tickets booked, you will be given priority for mountain access. Please book your lift tickets immediately when booking your clinic or lesson. If you are an Ikon Pass holder, reservations for day of skiing are required so please reserve your dates when booking the clinic/lesson.

4) Cancellation Policy

Please review our cancellation policy.

5) COVID Operating Procedures

Please review the COVID Operating Procedures page on our website. There are mandatory rules in place for face masks and social distancing. The page lists State, County, City and Aspen/Snowmass COVID regulations. If you are unwilling to follow these guidelines, please visit us another time. Anyone unwilling to comply will be asked to leave Aspen/Snowmass premises.

6) Pre-Clinic Zoom Meeting – New for 2020-2021

New for 2020-2021 season. We will be hosting a Zoom meeting one week prior to your clinic start date. Expect to receive an e-mail invitation from “[email protected]”. All attendees should participate in this meeting. Due to group size restrictions and to keep everyone safe this season, we will not be meeting as a group the morning of the lesson. The Zoom meeting will inform you of all operating procedures and logistics you need to know before you arrive. You will meet the coaches and be given specific information on gondola loading protocols and where to meet your coach. We’ll talk about ski rental options and what skis to rent. We’ll also discuss on-mountain logistics for meals and bio-breaks. We will also review resources for the Aspen/Snowmass, City of Aspen and Pitkin County Covid procedures.

7) Start Learning Today

Please be sure to sign up for our free Mogul and Powder Skiing Tips which provide tips and techniques on how to become a better mogul and powder skier. To receive maximum value from our program, we recommend that you subscribe to, and read, as many of these skiing tips as possible prior to your clinic or private lesson. Additionally, be sure to review the Mogul Skiing Technique section of our website prior to your arrival.

8) Get Your Body Ready Today

Improve your fitness! Invest some time in yourself before you arrive in Aspen. Clients who get the most out of our program are physically active and participate in an on-going conditioning program prior to arriving in Aspen. If you’re looking for a ski conditioning program to prepare for your clinic, we offer a free ski fitness program designed by Aspen’s top physical therapist and trainer.

Wear your boots! While you’re watching TV this Fall, slip on your ski boots and get your feet used to them. Wear them for 30 minutes at a time to start…increase the duration as you get closer to your clinic date. This is especially important if you’ve purchased new boots or had orthopedic surgery. Mistake to avoid? Buying new boots and wear them for the first time on day 1 of the clinic.

Cheers from the BUMPS FOR BOOMERS Team! We look forward to having a memorable ski season in 2020-2021!
