If you intend to drive between the Denver Airport (DIA) and Aspen or between Denver and Aspen you will likely be interested in the road conditions.
When Aspen weather or Denver International weather is bad, flights get cancelled. One of your fallback options is to drive between the Denver Airport and Aspen. There are two major passes - Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass. - that can have very stormy conditions. Before you get a rental car it is a good idea to check road conditions to see if it will be safe to drive over the mountain passes.
The Colorado Department Of Transportation (CDOT) has a series of traffic and road condition webcams on Highways 70 and 82 between Denver and Aspen. These webcams operate 24 hours per day and enable you to see actual current road conditions, with your own two eyes, through the lens of a camera.
For your convenience, we have assembled a collection of all of these live Colorado road condition webcam photographs onto a single web page. They are grouped into 3 major Colorado highway segments ordered by driving sequence from Denver:
Colorado Road Conditions On Highway I-70
From Denver to The Eisenhower Tunnel
Colorado Road Conditions On Highway I-70
From Eisenhower Tunnel to Glenwood Springs
