The Aspen Skiing Company just announced 2011-2012 season pass pricing.
2011-2012 Season Passes go on sale August 15! Passes can be purchased at ticket offices, by phone at 877-282-7736 or 970-923-1227.
There are numerous options - Premier passes, Flex passes, Escape passes, Classic passes and Other passes. For the lowest price of the season you must purchase your pass by September 16, 2011.

Aspen/Snowmass is offering special spring skiing deals to all Passholders from February 23 – March 7, 2010. For the next two weeks, Flex Passholder extension days have been lowered to $29 and Classic Passholder extension days are just $49.
Aspen/Snowmass Premier Passholders will receive one free demo at any Four-Mountain Sports location in Aspen or Snowmass Village.
For those of you who have been holding back on Aspen skiing due to it being perceived as a light snow year - those perceptions are now old. Snow has been dumping in Aspen for the last few days. Aspen Mountain has received 34 inches of white light fluffy powder in the last 7 days with 11 inches in the last 24 hours alone.

Having fun in Aspen or Snowmass need not be expensive. Here are nine winter things to do while you are in town that won't cost you a dime:
The Aspen Mountain ski resort is scheduled to open for the 2009-2010 season on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday November 26, 2009. The following is a status update released on November, 19.
Aspen Mountain and Snowmass Mountain open for skiing on November 22, 2007 and close on April 13, 2008. Butermilk Mountain and Aspen Highlands open for skiing on December 8, 2007 and close on April 6, 2008.
Aspen Mountain is the home of the highest performance Ski School in North America. Full Day private ski lessons are available every day from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or by special arrangement. Advance reservations are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED - particularly during peak periods - and require pre-payment. For details, reservations or information on meeting location either visit or call the Private Lesson Desk at Aspen Mountain (970-925-1227).
Small group ski lessons (adults only) for levels 5 - 9 are offered every day on Aspen Mountain. Advance reservations are not required. Meet outside the Sundeck Restaurant at the top of Aspen Mountain at 9:45 a.m. with your lift ticket, lesson ticket and equipment. Lessons begin at 10:00 a.m. Lesson tickets may be purchased at any ticket window or at the Ski School desk inside the Sundeck restaurant.  Be sure and allow 20 minutes time to ride the Gondola from the bottom of the mountain to the top.
Aspen Mountain will host several 2007 Disabled World Cup ski races. The Super G will be held on Wednesday, January 17 and Slalom on Saturday and Sunday January 20 and 21. For details call Challenge Aspen at 970-923-0578.
