Sure we run Aspen's favorite mogul and powder skiing program, but we can appreciate a perfect carpet of corduroy as much as the next guy. Did you know you can sign up to get first tracks down Aspen Mountain or Snowmass? Of course you'll need a lift ticket, but there is no charge for this awesome experience. Yes - no charge = free! in Aspen?!?
Groups leave at 8 am daily on Aspen Mountain and Wednesdays and Fridays on Snowmass to head up the mountain...before anyone else does! A ski instructor will guide you down the mountain while the rest of the world stands at the bottom in awe of your fresh tracks. It's especially great on those mornings when there are a few inches of powder resting on top of the corduroy! Then pop on the gondola for a ride back up while you pick out your signature tracks in the snow.
Reservations are a must. For Aspen Mountain call 970-920-0755 and for Snowmass call 970-923-0560.
First -and- Free?
The snow has been melting in Mass and there are a lot of jealous skiers this side of the country now! It's great that you can get out there first and it's free, great double value.

Wow! I wish I was in Aspen
Wow! I wish I was in Aspen instead of Seattle. Sounds like great skiing. How long does the season usually last?
