The Aspen Skiing Company has announced that a new $17 million children’s center - the Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center - will open for the 2007 - 2008 ski season at Base Village in Snowmass.
The new two-story, 25,000-square-foot Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center, located at the intersection of the three new lifts (the Village Express six-pack lift, Sky Cab gondola and Elk Camp Gondola) on Fanny Hill, is the largest capital project in the Aspen Skiing Company’s history.
The Treehouse will become the focal point for kid's programs at Aspen/Snowmass and will house a family-friendly climbing gym, teen activities, kids’ retail items and a host of themed rooms for youngsters, ages eight weeks and older. In addition, Ski & Snowboard Schools check-in, rental and retail operations, and family après entertainment will be consolidated under one roof.
